JOB SUMMARYl UNDER PICK-UP AND DELIVERY OF PACKAGES TO CUSTOMERS WITH COURTESY AND EFFICIENCY. ENSURES PROMPT SHIPMENTS OF PACKAGES BY COMPLETING ALL NECESSARY PAPERWORK AND CHECKING THEIR CONFORMITY TO FEDEX PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MALE; 22 – 33 YEARS OLD; MUST BE COURTEOUS; DISCIPLINED;
AT LEAST THIRD YEAR COLLEGE LEVEL
WITH THREE(3) TO SIX(6) MONTHS WORKING EXPERIENCE;
GOOD INTERPERSONAL AND HUMAN RELATIONS SKILLS;
WILLING TO WORK ON HOLIDAYS BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.

KEY TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

ACCOMPLISHES ACCURATE AND TIMELY PICK-UP
AND DELIVERY OF ASSIGNED PACKAGES;
SEEKS ADDITIONAL BUSINESS FROM CURRENT CUSTOMERS;
ANSWER CUSTOMER QUESTIONS ON FEDEX FEATURE OF SERVICE,
AND CONTINUALLY KEEPS CUSTOMERS INFORMED ABOUT COMPANY AND ITS SERVICES;
DETERMINES LEGALITY OF PACKAGES INCLUDING WEIGHT AND SIZE,
PROPER WRAPPING, INSURANCE VALUES AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIAL SHIPMENTS BASED ON SERVICE REFERENCE GUIDE;
AUDITS ACCURACY AND COMPLETENESS OF AIRWAYBILL BASED ON THE CHECKLIST PROVIDED IN THE SERVICE REFERENCE GUIDE AND CHECKS PACKAGE
CONFORMITY TO PROPER PACKAGES REQUIREMENTS BEFORE ACCEPTING A PACKAGE;
ASSISTS CUSTOMERS IN THEIR OPTION TO REPACKAGE THE
SHIPMENT FOR COMPLIANCE TO SPECIFIED WEIGHT LIMITS;
PROVIDES NECESSARY PAPERWORKS RELATING TO THE PICK-UP
AND DELIVERY OF PACKAGES, SUCH AS AIRWAYBILL, DELIVERY RECORDS, PICK-UP MANIFEST,ETC. WITH NEATNESS AND ACCURACY;
ENSURES THAT PACKAGES HAVE COMPLETE AND ACCURATE SHIPPING DOCUMENTS;
ENSURES PROPER SECURITY FEDEX COMPANY AND CUSTOMER
PROPERTY SUCH AS CASH PACKAGES, EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES;
ENSURES CUSTOMER HAVE ADEQUATE SUPPLY OF FEDEX MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES;
MAINTAINS NEAT AND CLEAN APPEARANCE OF SELF TO UPHOLD COMPANY PUBLIC IMAGE;
CONSULTS OPERATIONS SUPERVISORS IF THERE IS
PROBLEM ON THE SHIPMENT BEFORE ACCEPTING OR REFUSING THE PACKAGE;
FOR SHIPMENTS RETURNED TO SENDER FOR CORRECTIONS, ADVISE SENDER OF LIMITATIONS AND ARRANGES FOR LATER PICK UP IF UNABLE TO WAIT;
SUBMITS DELIVERY RECORD ON TIME FOR PROPER UPDATING OF POD’S;
IMMEDIATELY REPORTS UNSUCCESSFUL PICK UP TO FURTHER ACTION;
RETURNS THE SENDER COPY OF AIRWAYBILL TO SENDER AS RECEIPT OF PACKAGE TENDERED AND KEEPS REMAINING COPIES IN A SAFE POUCH;
FORWARDS PICK-UP SHIPMENTS TO WAREHOUSE BEFORE CUT-OFF TIME;
PERFORMS AND / OR IMPLEMENTS QUALITY SYSTEMS AND ISO-RELATED ACTIVITIES;
PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS DEEED NECESSARY.
